What you will do… 

  • Document and manage changes to project scope, plans, and timelines using RFIs and Change Orders
  • Ensure high-quality project execution in compliance with company policies and safety protocols
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by regularly visiting job sites and expanding the customer base
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and communicate them clearly to the field team
  • Create and monitor project budgets and schedules, taking corrective actions as needed to meet expectations
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Train and effectively supervise Project Managers in the company philosophy and systems
  • Oversee installation, testing, and day-to-day operations
  • Lead, mentor, and coach project teams to achieve goals and support professional growth
  • Review and improve project efficiency, productivity, and job cost performance
  • Promote and enforce a safety-first culture, ensuring all project teams follow safety policies and standards 

What you will need to succeed… 

  • 5+ years of experience managing structured cabling and low-voltage projects in data centers
  • Experience in low-voltage commercial construction and data center environments, including estimating and writing quotes
  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale copper and fiber optic installations
  • Strong knowledge of BICSI standards, EIA/TIA codes, and data center infrastructure best practices
  • Skilled in managing subcontractors and technicians to ensure timely, high-quality installations
  • Experienced in coordinating with general contractors, electrical trades, and IT stakeholders
  • Proficient in writing and interpreting MOPs, SOWs, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules
  • Capable of producing as-built drawings, test results, and closeout documentation
  • Adept at material procurement and vendor coordination for low-voltage scopes
  • Comfortable working in live data center environments with strict access protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed proposals and manage project delivery
  • Strong strategic planning, team leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics; must distinguish colors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and BIM 360
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
